A Bachelor’s in Computer Science from FAST-NU complimented by a Master’s in Business Administration from IBA, Faraz is also certified in Islamic Finance by the Centre of Islamic Economics and a CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute, USA. Faraz is also pursuing an Islamic Finance Qualification from the Securities & Investment Institute, United Kingdom. Muhammad Qasim Lakhani, CFA
Qasim is a Master's in Business Administration from IBA and a CFA Charter Holder. Qasim’s qualifications coupled with more than 17 years of experience in fund management, equity broking and corporate planning gives him the leading edge that has earned him his place as director at Al-Hilal Shariah Advisors. Qasim's illustrious career has had him interact with numerous giants of the finance sector such as ABN-AMRO Equities, where he applied himself in equity research and JP Morgan Pakistan which was known at the time as Jardine Fleming Pakistan Broking. Qasim also proved his credentials in equity portfolio management and corporate planning at PICIC and Engro Chemical respectively. Qasim also served at Elixir Securities Pakistan where he headed the Research Department and also headed their Sales Desk.
